    This seminar will address important developments in the area of education law in K-12 schools during the past year. Topics include developments related to Title IX, school policy considerations related to threat assessment protocols, and education equity in Chicago. This seminar will also review recent developments at the U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights and the Illinois State Board of Education and provide updates related to special education law, labor and employment law, and the 2019 legislative session. Please join us for the seminar and a reception following. The Illinois MCLE Board has approved this program for 3.75 hours of general CLE credit. The seminar and CLE credit for attorneys are offered free of charge. Lunch will be provided.
