*The American Rule of Law Through the Lens of Black Liberation.*

Professor Paul Gowder's research focuses on the rule of law, political and legal theory, racial and social justice, and law and technology. His first book, The Rule of Law in the Real World, was published in 2016, and his second, The Rule of Law in the United States: An Unfinished Project of Black Liberation, will be published in December 2021.
