All are invited to attend the SSOM Graduation Mass & Blessing of Graduates on Friday, May 13 at 4:00pm in Quiet Study. Students and family members from all faith traditions are warmly invited! Class of 2022 member, Ryan Mak, SJ, will give the homily, and Dave De Marco, SJ, MD will preside.

Mass will conclude with a special candlelit ceremony in which the physicians who taught and trained you will ¿pass the light¿ to you. This is immediately followed by a Blessing of Graduates, conferred upon you by your faculty and staff mentors. This is a beautiful moment for students, families, and the broader Stritch community, and we especially hope you will be here to be a part of it!

    What is this Mass?
Celebrating Mass on the eve of Commencement is an opportunity for us to gather in prayer and song, giving thanks to God for the experiences, people, learning, and growth of your years at the Stritch School of Medicine. Students and families of all faith traditions are welcome, as this is a moment for our entire community to come together and share in our Jesuit Catholic tradition and shared values of contemplation and community.
