    As you all should know, tomorrow (Thursday) is pi day, so we will be celebrating with pi and pie related activities. This year the *pi* activity will span both parts of our department's name: we will be estimating pi using statistics (and throwing things around the 5th floor of BVM). Here is the planned schedule:

    Event Schedule:
    4pm: Data gathering starts on 5th floor of BVM. We need many students to help with this! BVM Hall, 5th floor lobby)
    4:15pm: Results of the statistics, and some math! (IES111)
    4:30-5pm: Pie eating! (IES111)
