    Professor Dina Berger, Director of the Latin American Studies Program, will give a talk about the Day of the Dead holiday celebrated in Mexico. She will highlight ways that communities commemorate and celebrate the memories of the deceased.

    There will be an altar that honors loved ones who have passed as well as commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Salvadoran martyrs. Lunch and sweet bread (pan dulce) will be provided. All are welcome to contribute offerings to the altar.
