    It is not too late to consider a career in teaching. Apply by the March 20th Rambler Deadline to be consider for this summer. This special deadline is only available for current Loyola seniors who will graduate in May 2015 and wish to be considered for the summer 2015 term.

    Loyola's teacher preparation program places you in partner schools and communities in the first week and through your entire program. There are extensive opportunities to work alongside expert teachers in urban classrooms in high-need, high-performing schools, cultural institutions and community organizations.

    Complete coursework that prepares you for certification options in elementary, secondary, or special education. We prepare you to teach in urban classrooms in high-need, high-performing schools.

    Elementary and secondary candidates are prepared to teach in International Baccalaureate schools and all candidates are eligible to apply for the English as a Second Language (ESL)endorsement, offering you more professional opportunities upon graduation.

    Complete the secondary education program in one year. Complete the elementary or special education program in two years of study and internship.
