The Education Law and Policy Society (ELPS) invites everyone interested in pursuing a Public Interest Career or applying for an Equal Justice Works (EJW) Fellowship to attend a brown bag lunch on October 12 from 12-1 pm in the ChildLaw Center¿s coffee talk room. The brown bag lunch will feature Equal Justice Works (EJW) Fellow and Loyola ¿14 Alum Kate Gladson. Kate applied for and received an EJW Fellowship during her third year of law school. LAF Chicago hosts Kate¿s School Closing Project in their Children and Families Practice group.

Kate will be speaking about her EJW application process, her project, and how she secured LAF Chicago as her host organization. She will also discuss and update us on her School Closings Project. She will offer tips to students interested in applying for an EJW and provide insight as to what it is like to work for a non-profit organization, like LAF Chicago, post graduation.

    Light snacks will be provided.
