Learn about immigrant rights and strategies to protect members of our campus, families, and communities in a changing political climate at this training cosponsored by the Office of Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs, Center for the Human Rights of Children, and the Latin American Student Organization. In it, staff members from the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights will discuss the current enforcement priorities and ways to defend one's rights regardless of immigration status, preparing an action plan with critical documents, identifying and reporting hate crimes, and how to get involved in the struggle for immigrant rights.
