¿From the moment we are born, we continue to be shaped by our involvement in networks of relationships. As we grow older and progressively come to understand about choice, our personal identity continues to grow from our conscious commitments - especially commitments to people. To be a person means being in relationship.¿
¿ Befriending our Desires by Philip Sheldrake
The call to Mercy and Compassion is an invitation for relationship - an invitation to give and receive love, extend kindness, and be a channel of unbounded generosity. This retreat will articulate principles of attachment theory and emerging neurosciences as they pertain to how our primary attachment style impacts our capacity to grow and be free flowing channels of God¿s hands and feet on earth.
This event is open to all¿parish and congregation leaders, the greater Loyola Chicago community, students, faculty, and alumni.
Cost $20, includes Continental Breakfast, Lunch and Materials
REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED BY MARCH 8. NO WALK-INS
