    Our featured 2018 Wozniak speaker is Dr. Amanda Lewis. Dr. Lewis is the Director of the Institute for Research on Race and Public Policy and Professor of African American Studies and Sociology at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

    The day is spread across three sessions:
    2:00pm Master Class: Doing Qualitative Research About Schooling, Race, and Equity
    3:30pm Panel Discussion: School-Based Racial Equity Initiatives: Student and Educator Engagement and Perspectives (Odgen /Jenner and Evanston Township HS students and educators join us to share their stories)
    5:30pm Keynote: Schools as Race-Making Institutions: Advancing Justice or Reinforcing Hierarchies?
