    Indigenous Land Acknowledgement: Reconciliation and Action

    Honoring Indigenous Peoples' Day at Loyola University Chicago

    Join Loyola University Chicago and a panel of Indigenous leaders for a discussion on the value of the University's Land Acknowledgement Statement and efforts to welcome and support Indigenous people at Loyola. Participants will also preview new campus signs displaying the Land Acknowledgement Statement, designed by Indigenous artist Buffalo Gouge.

    The School of Environmental Sustainability is pleased to host this event with support from the Council of Deans, Facilities the Management Division, and the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Additional collaborators include University Marketing and Communications, the Institute for Racial Justice, and the University Land Acknowledgement Statement Committee.
