The Center for Engaged, Learning, Teaching & Scholarship provides a number of professional development programs for faculty and staff. Our programs are open to all instructors at LUC - full time, clinical, adjunct, and staff and PhD students who teach classes.

Join instructors teaching Engaged Learning courses from around the University to discuss elements of teaching an Engaged Learning course, including different approaches to the different Engaged Learning categories, creating engaged teaching and learning spaces, working with community partners, and developing robust techniques for teaching Engaged Learning courses. The focus on various strategies and best practices will be led by the priorities of participants, as the community of practice will develop the topics and focus of the meetings. Readings and resources will be provided throughout the community of practice meetings.
