The Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is kicking off this academic year with a purposeful twist!
We believe that we should all be vocal advocates, engaged allies, and collaborative change agents for each other. Therefore, we will use this opportunity to build community by gaining historical knowledge, increasing empathy and compassion, raising our awareness of prejudice and discrimination, and engaging in critical thinking to reduce unjust barriers for all on our campuses.
Our museum visit takes place on Tuesday, September 19 with free transportation leaving Lake Shore Campus at 8:30 a.m. and returning at approximately 2:30 p.m. This visit is open to Loyola faculty and staff, free of charge, and includes an opening discussion, museum tour, reflection, and lunch.
There is limited space, so please register by September 8.
