Loyola's Medieval Studies Center invites you to *Zoom in* to the first presentation in the Spring 2024 series *Class, Caste and Race in the Global Middle Ages.* Dr. Kathy Lavezzo of the University of Iowa will share her thoughts on *Bad Medievalism: or How We Feel About the Middle Ages.* Dr. Lavezzo's work deals with theories of identity formation and Critical Race Theory. Her current book project *confronts the negative affective components of medieval study that emerge when we track the medieval roots of modern racism.*
