Global migration is at an all-time historical high. Climate change, conflict, violence, poverty, discrimination, and extraction of natural resources are just some of the factors contributing to the displacement of human beings around the world. This multi-disciplinary panel will share how Loyola faculty and students are responding to this crisis by centering the experiences and advancing the dignity and human rights of people who are immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. Case studies presented will include examples of current research, services, and advocacy being conducted locally, nationally, and internationally. There will be ample time for discussion/Q&A. This panel presentation is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
