Starting a digital writing project, but don¿t know what to build it in? In this workshop, Digital Humanities MA student Zach Stella will make a case for Scalar, a free, open-source web publishing platform designed to help authors write rich, digital-born scholarship. He will go over the basics for constructing content pages, assembling media, and working with metadata. No prior experience necessary; participants are encouraged to bring a laptop and, in advance, sign up for their own Scalar account at https://scalar.usc.edu/works/system/register (Registration key: Rm3pPd0#s7).
