Title: Going behind the scenes of science teacher education: how are we supporting beginning teachers¿ ongoing learning and development at Loyola University Chicago?
In a world where scientific issues are increasingly in the news, how are our science teachers being prepared? Dr. Lara Smetana will share background on the state of science teacher education today and share examples from her research and practice, from developing research experiences for beginning teachers to mentoring and induction supports.
