For those of you who have not yet seen the thought-provoking documentary, The Loyola Project, it tells the story of the 1963 Loyola Ramblers basketball team and what they endured and achieved during the height of the civil rights movement. As we approach the 60th anniversary of what is referred to as 'the game of change' that helped to desegregate basketball on March 15, we must reflect on the path to this historical moment and one of the many roadblocks we are still faced with today¿unwritten rules.

This month's Courageous Conversation will explore unwritten rules¿powerful, unspoken suggestions about how we should look, behave, and represent ourselves in professional and/or social environments. Attendees will have time with their peers to discuss the impact of unwritten rules and how we can be advocates for showing up as our full selves.
