The Center for Diversity & Inclusion, formerly known as SDMA, hosts the annual Legacy Celebration the Sunday before commencement in May. The celebration commemorates the culmination of the academic journey of all undergraduate, graduate, and professional students who identify as first generation, scholars of color, and/or members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer/questioning, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA) community. Students interested in participating in the celebration must complete an interest form and are eligible to apply to give a keynote address.
